Update* The techie just left me hanging told me to run an uninstall and no fix. Probably till they figure out there is no sunshine where they have their heads. Then after you get it up and running just don't close out. A fast steady spin will clue you to it starting. You have to fiddle with the DVD drive (laptop only) like pushing in and out, then list to how the disk runs. I have gotten it to work before with a large failure rate but the game will load and stay up no matter what save for a reboot or shut down. Currently waiting for Tech support, they really don't know jack, will post my results. I have been hounding EA for almost three days now and they give me a run around and want us all to get a digital copy but as far as I know you need permanent internet connection to play. I have tried the uninstall and your computer WILL find the disk drive again.
